Optometrists enjoyed a median income of $101,290 in 2013, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Ophthalmologists – Salary

Ophthalmologists are paid much higher than optometrists, earning a median wage of $191,220 in 2013 according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Entry level professionals enjoyed a starting salary of $154,000, while the highest paid professionals made as much as $351,207 a year. Optometrists – Education and Licensure
